Release notes
Every Hachi update, newest first. Hachi updates itself, so you get these without doing anything.
0.1.0-beta.4
A friendlier first step when you install Hachi.
What's new
- A new install window when you open the download, with a paw-print trail showing where to drag Hachi.
0.1.0-beta.3
The first Hachi you can download, for Macs with Apple silicon, signed and notarised by Apple.
What's new
- Name a goal and a crew of four helpers plans it, does the work and checks in: Chief of Staff, Researcher, Writer and Coach.
- Hachi asks before anything leaves your computer. Trust a tool in one chat, or everywhere, and take that back any time.
- Use your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google key, OpenRouter, or a model on your own computer.
- Costs shown before and after each goal, with budgets that pause the work instead of overspending.
- Routines: a morning check-in, a weekly review or a watch on a page. In the background Hachi only reads.
- Connections to Notion, Linear, Todoist, Cal.com and your files.
- A Stop all shortcut that halts every run at once.
- A signed log of every action, which the AI cannot edit.
- Automatic updates, each one checked against a signed list of files.
Fixes
- Updates install when you quit, and Hachi reopens on the new version.
